Easy Gluten-Free Christmas Treats that don't take a lot of time or ingredients and are great for last-minute festive desserts!
With the festive season being so busy, sometimes all you need is a little reminder of some great recipes that can make the holiday season a little merrier and easier.
Here are a few that are easy, festive, and gluten-free...with a few tips along the way!
Easy Gluten Free Christmas Treats
Santa Hat Desserts
These Santa Hats Desserts are the perfect dessert to finish off a delicious Christmas meal.
All you need are strawberries, whipped cream, a white chocolate star, a good dusting of icing sugar, and a delicious and moist gluten-free chocolate cake for the base.
There are two ways that you can make the cake base.
Number 1 - Make The Best Gluten Free Chocolate Cake
After making the delicious gluten-free chocolate cake and leaving it to cool, simply using a scone/biscuit cutter, cut out rounds, and then add the whipped cream, top with a strawberry, and dust with icing sugar OR:
Number 2: Use a gluten free chocolate cake packet mix!
I know, I know, gluten-free packet cake mix can be dry but the tip here is to add apple puree!
Tip - Simply add 100 grams of apple puree to the wet ingredients of the cake mix and combine. It is that easy and is makes a delicious and moist chocolate cake.
I use 1 tub (113g) of a four-pack of unsweetened apple puree from Aldi.
Fruit Stick Santas
For a little bit of Christmas fun with a healthy twist, these Christmas Fruit Sticks are easy to make and are gluten-free. You are probably thinking what about the marshmallows??
Yes, there is such a thing as gluten-free marshmallows!
...proof below!! π
For the fruit sticks simply slide on a grape, a slice of banana, top with a strawberry, and then using a pair of kitchen scissors, snip off a piece of marshmallow to top the Santa's hat. Β Then using chocolate make your Santas smile!! π
The children love these ...and actually so do the large children... often known as adults!!
Easy Dark Chocolate Fudge
This is an easy recipe for delicious gluten-freeΒ dark chocolate fudge and it is filled with walnuts. There is no baking required, it is gluten-free and only takes 5 ingredients!
