When life is busy...and I mean hectic... it is good to have a couple of ideas for really easy entertaining, ready to go, Β especially around the holiday and festive time of the year.
The type of ideas that don't need a lot of ingredients, or ones where you don't have to visit lots of different shops to get the ingredients or that take hours to make...but do look good and taste great!
Β I am going to jump right in with just a few so that it doesn't take too long for you to go...oh! yes I could do that!Β

Rockmelon, Prosciutto and Basil Appetisers
So very easy and full of taste and flavour...and they look pretty too!
You could use a melon baller to quickly scoop out the melon balls...but I use a cake corer.
Simply slice the rockmelon and then use the cake corer to cut out the little rounds. The best part is that the base of the melon is flat so they stand up on the serving plate!
On a toothpick, slide on a little fresh basil leaf, sliced prosciutto and then the rockmelon and line up on a platter. Keep in the fridge till serving.
Fresh, colourful, delicious and quick!
Dark Chocolate and Gogi Berry Bites
Who doesn't love chocolate?
These Dark Chocolate and Gogi Berry Bites are just a matter of simply melting some dark chocolate and sprinkling on the gogi berries and allowing them to cool. These lovely little morsels are delicious and healthy bite-sized treats for the festive table!
Chocolate Covered Mandarin!
While we are 'loving chocolate', mandarin and orange goes so well with dark chocolate! #jaffarules π
Simply peel a mandarin or two and divide their sections and peel off the white pith. Then melt dark chocolate and dunk the pieces into the warm chocolate and place them onto baking paper to cool.
The tangΒ of citrus and the smoothness of chocolate - win, win!!
Raspberries and Dark ChocolateΒ
This has to be the easiest way to add colour to your festive table AND give your guests the divine taste of fresh raspberries and chocolate. Simply poke dark chocolate bits into fresh raspberries...yes it is that easy ...and healthy for you too!
