Do you have one of those days, when just a little 'treat' can make make the day better... and it doesn't need to be expensive or fancy. Recently I had one of those days and needed a little pick me up... and all it needed to be was an inexpensive bottle of nail polish in a vibrant colour!
It is funny how a splash of colour on your fingers and toes can make you feel polished and ready to take on the world!
So after getting a little bit of colour into my world, I realised that it didn't take much to add a bit of glamour, especially if nail polishes were close at hand. (...pun intended π )
Β Even though the black finish was coming off...they were destined to do something better!
They would be perfect for storing and organising nail polishes! I know it is great when a thrifty and crafty ideas just comes to mind....got to go with it ...right!Β

Second Step... then I simply sprayed them with metallic silver spray paint! ...got to love spray paint!
Β I used British Paints - Spray Easy, Quick drying Enamel. It is a quick drying multipurpose enamel that has aΒ hardwearing finish on metal. wood and brick. It drys to a smooth finish and can be used on a range of projects. I have also used this paint on some old frames!
One coat was all that was needed and they sat outside drying in the sun for the next 2 days. ...just to make sure they were dry not because I forgot about them!Β
