2. Vertical Gardening
I love the look of vertical gardens and they are an excellent way of using the space that you have. I had some old pieces of wood, that were worn and was just stacked up around the corner of my house.
I simply nailed them together and constructed a 'rustic' plank, and laid in on its side, so I could hang some pots and herbs. This way I used the space that I had and it gave it an 'old world', rustic look!

3. Growing Herbs
Buying herbs for cooking can be expensive but having one plant of each herb, keeps my cooking needs covered.
I love to use of fresh herbs in my cooking because they have more flavour and fragrance. Basil, chives and parsley are herbs that thrive and are wonderful to add to a range of dishes.
Even chillies are easy to grow in a pot and they are a beautiful looking plant.
4. Saving the Seeds
The best part about growing herbs is that they produce seeds that can be stored and used again to grown your herb plants.
I love to collect basil and coriander seeds to re-grow these plants again next year.
