Gluten Free, Egg Free Chocolate Waffles!

Serves: 6
- 1 cup of Self Raising Gluten Free Flour
- ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of caster sugar
- 1 cup of milk ( we use almond milk)
- 75g of melted butter
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla essence
- 1 tablespoon of Nutella
- Preheat the waffle maker.
- In a large bowl mix together the flour, baking powder and salt
- In a microwave bowl, melt the butter and then while it is warm add in the tablespoon of Nutella, the sugar and vanilla and stir
- Add in the milk to the flour mixture and then the butter/Nutella mixture and whisk together.
- Spoon mixture into the waffle maker (For my waffle maker - two tablespoons of mixture makes one waffle)
- Cook for 4 minutes (or until it is ready) and remove from the waffle maker onto a plate. (Do not cover as you want the waffles to stay crispy)
- Serve with berries, melted chocolate and sprinkle with icing sugar.. (and ice-cream and cream if you really want to indulge!!)
