Gluten Free Quinoa and Tahini Bars
A healthy mixture of tahini, quinoa puffs and chia seeds that creates delicious 'energy' bars!
  • 1 cup Tahini (or peanut butter)
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons of Cacao
  • 2 cups of puffed cereal - I use Orgran Quinoa Puffs,
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 cup of coconut
  • ½ cup crushed peanuts (or almonds)
  • ¼ cup of cranberries
  1. Simply add all the ingredients into a blender and mix!....
  2. Press the mixture into a lined baking tin (with greaseproof paper) and flatten with the back of a spoon.
  3. While it is soft, slice into bars.
  4. Place into the fridge for a few hours for the bars to set.
  5. (Note: If you don't like the stronger flavour of tahini, peanut paste or almond butter works really well too.)
